Main Street Community Center

Our Blue Mountain Community Center on 364 Main St in West Point, CA, is a hub for our rural community, offering activities and services for kids, seniors and families.

Our 3000 square foot center has a fully-stocked art area, a piano, and instruments for children. Current activities include: After School Activities, Free Community Dinners, and Yoga.

 

Community Dinners

Free Dinners are served every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 5pm.  

BMCYF began serving community dinners 20 years ago. Our meals are cooked in house with loved and served family style.  Donations accepted.

Youth Programs

BMCYF offers activities for kids of all ages on Fridays, including 0-5 playgroups, after school activities and teen nights.

Blue Mountain Center hosts AFTER SCHOOL ART & ACTIVITIES for kids ages 6-12, Wednesdays 2-4pm and Fridays 12-4pm.  Staff meet kids at West Point Elementary School and walk them to the center.  Healthy Snacks, Outdoor and Indoor Activities and clubs are provided.

We provide a First 5 PLAYGROUP for babies 0-5 and their caregivers, Friday mornings 9:30-11am.

The LEAD UP is empowering young people to be the next generation of mentors and leaders in our community.  YOUTH ages 12-17 meet every Friday 4:30-6:30pm at the Blue Mountain Center.

Senior Brunches

The 4th Wednesday of every month 11am-1pm, join us for a free brunch, coffee, tea and connections.

West Point Community Garden

The West Point Community Garden is located at 174 Spink Road.  Volunteers meet Friday mornings at 9am.  Produce grown in the garden is used in our Free Dinners and distributed to the community.  We invite you to come in and enjoy the garden, or join our volunteer group.
