Youth Programs
The Blue Mountain Center provides a safe space and positive activities for all ages of youth through a variety of programs. All of these activities are FREE and open to everyone.
- Playgroup: Ages 0-5 - Wednesdays 10:30-11:30am
- Youth Club: Ages 6-12- Wednesday & Friday - Afterschool Activities
- Lead Up Teen Group: Ages 13+ - Monday & Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm - Teen Leadership
Playgroup: Ages 0-5
Wednesdays 10:30-11:30am
The Blue Mountain Center hosts a First 5 Playgroup on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30am. Playgroups give young children the chance to socialize with other children of the same age, take turns and interact. Parents and caregivers are able to meet and talk to other adults as well as learn about local resources and other family supports. Youth Club: Ages 6-12
Wednesday & Friday
The Blue Mountain Center is honored to provide free After School Art and Activities to local kids. Our After School Art Program is currently open Wednesdays from 1:30-4pm and Fridays 1:30-4pm. Our youth program staff and teen mentors supervise kids, provide healthy snacks and positive activities. Special activities include: Garden Club with Calfresh, Library Activities, Cooking Classes and Art Activities.
Lead Up Teen Group: Ages 13+
Monday & Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm
The Lead Up program gives local teens and young adults a safe space to connect with their peers and empower them to become the next generation of leaders in our community. Teens meet at the center two days per week to learn life and leadership skills. This program is funded by a grant from elevateyouthca.org.
